When I first found out we were having a baby I was set on the idea of a monochrome nursery (see the post HERE) but since discovering our little babe is a girl I have had a slight change of heart as to the colour scheme of her room. Essentially the styling will be the same as I love the idea of a clean modern aesthetic however I am now going to inject a little colour into the space. I am sticking with a black, white and grey theme but will add elements in a peachy/pink tone and small hints of gold.
I absolutely LOVE the idea of having a feature wall as opposed to painting the entire room a single shade and my love of chalkboard paint will definitely be making an appearance. I plan to introduce the colours in the soft furnishings and decor and have already started purchasing a few items for her room including blankets and cushions with peach and gold accents.
This colour scheme would also be suitable for a little boys room - simply substitute the peach for a mint or baby blue tone!
