My Husband and I have spent the best part of 9 months focused on the exterior renovation of our home. It was an area that needed the most attention and I really wanted to get the landscaping and gardens underway so that my plants could finally get out of pots and into the ground to start establishing themselves. After many long weekends spent outside we are on the home straight, with only a few more areas to complete (for now) before we can re-switch our focus to the interior of the house.
I have spent a long time researching exactly what I envision for the interior of our home and am excited to get started on the big aspects of the renovation including the kitchen and main bathroom. In the meantime I have been working on the baby nursery (that took top priority with the pending arrival) and I will be sharing the finished product over the next few weeks. I plan to tackle the smaller, more manageable areas myself and am also in the process of getting the office/study underway once the nursery is completed. See my vision for the office renovation HERE.
As always Pinterest is a constant source of inspiration and I have found myself drawn to gorgeous interior colour combinations such as powder pink and copper. I am not usually a fan of the colour pink but I think I could make it work for me in soft peach and blush tones - similar to the colour scheme I am using in the nursery. I am undecided if this colour scheme would work well in the main living areas of our home but it has certainly got me inspired!
