I have been asked a few times what skincare products I use on Thea, so here are our tried & tested personal faves:
1. OliveBaby – Natural Hair & Body Wash: The hair and body wash is one of my
absolute favourite products from the Olive Baby range. It smells delicious, is gentle on the skin and
doesn’t contain any nasties - making it the perfect choice for babies. All of
the products in the Olive Baby range contain no artificial colours,
preservatives, fragrances or parabens and are free from animal testing.
2. OliveBaby – 100% Natural Barrier Balm: I have used this balm on Thea since day one
and she is yet to get a nappy rash! I am utterly obsessed with this product and
highly recommended it. The balm contains natural New Zealand beeswax, cocoa
butter and almond oil and is gentle on the skin.
3. OliveBaby – Soothing Nappy Cream: The Olive Baby nappy cream is just as effective as
the barrier balm in the prevention of nappy rash, however I do prefer the
consistency of the beeswax based balm over a cream. I have popped this product
into the nappy bag as a back up.
4. HappyLittle Poppets – Nourishing Baby Oil: This fragrance free baby oil combines healing jojoba
and calendula oils with a sweet almond oil base to smooth, soften and condition
the skin. I use this oil after bath-time and it is perfect for dry areas - a
few drops go a long way! The oil is made in NZ with all-natural ingredients and
is the perfect choice if you are looking for quality baby oil.
5. OliveBaby – Natural Bubble Bath: I alternate between the Olive Baby bubble bath and
the Eco Store sleepytime bath as I love them both so much! The Olive Baby
bubblebath has a gorgeous scent and compliments the hair and body wash from the
same brand. Who doesn’t love a good bubblebath?!
6. EcoStore – Baby Soap: I actually use this
product myself so it is perfect for when I am having a shower with Thea as I
know it will be kind to her skin. The goats milk and lavender soap gently cleanses baby without damaging or
breaking down the oils in the protective layer in their skin. Eco Store
products contain no nasties and are cruelty free.
7. EcoStore – Sleepytime bath: Another Eco Store favourite in our home, the sleepytime
bubble bath is perfect to help get baby ready for sleep.
