NZFW14

Today marks the start of the 14th annual New Zealand Fashion Week, a trade event that offers designers a platform to present AW15 collections to media, buyers and industry. This is my third year attending Fashion Week (my first year as a blogger) and I am excited to see what designers will showcase on the runway. Being a new(ish) Mum I have had to select which shows I can fit in around my daughters routine, so this year instead of a full schedule of back to back shows I will be attending evening shows and a select few during the day. First up tomorrow I will be attending the New Generation show featuring one of my favourite designers Amber Whitecliffe, I am looking forward to seeing what Amber presents on the runway. Lela Jacobs (who impressed with her amazing show last year) is also showing on Tuesday, followed by Salasai and crowd favourite Stolen Girlfriends Club. On Wednesday I cannot wait for the wedding show which is always a highlight, followed by PIA, another designer that really impressed me last year. Wednesday evening is a great line up with Juliette Hogan and then Zambesi. Fingers crossed I make it to Thursday as I am really looking forward to seeing the collections of two of my favourite young female designers Celine Rita and Trish Peng. 

NZFW is a fast paced event so I have put together a kit of essentials to get me through the week (pictured above). I will be posting live from the venue so make sure you are following BMM on instagram!
