GARDEN PARTY TABLESCAPE

On the weekend I hosted an outdoor garden party for my friends, it has become somewhat of a tradition now and is the perfect opportunity to bring us all together before Christmas. Every year I unleash my inner creative styling the dinner table and I wanted to share a few images from this years party to hopefully inspire others to create a beautiful table setting with minimal cost.

All the flowers used on my tablescape were foraged the night before (thanks hubby) from the side of the road, so the colour scheme was decided by what we could find. The glassware (used as candle holders) was purchased from my local hospice store for a few dollars and the table runner was made from a long piece of inexpensive fabric I picked up from an emporium. The table cloth, napkins and whiteware were pieces I already owned and fairy lights were used around the base of the centre piece to add a little sparkle come darkness. All of the paper decorations above the table were sourced my my local dollar store and my total spend for the entire set up came in at under $100. The best thing about the things I purchased is that they are reusable so I will be putting them away for our next celebration.
